Active and sporty
The First holiday resort in Zillertal does not offer just winter activities for skiers and snowboarders. Winter walking with snow-shoes, ice-skating, tobogganing at a natural ice toboggan run or swimming in the indoor baths. There are a lot of things to do, to spend a day without skiing or snowboarding.
Winter hiking
Experience winter in a gentle way!
Hike and walk on 50 km groomed winter hiking trails. Enjoy fresh mountain air and a fantastic view into the alps.

Tobogganing
This sport guarantees lots of fun and is suitable for everyone!
After an exciting day spent on the pistes, head for the lit toboggan run in Gerlosstein. With a total length of 7km, it is the longest run in the Zillertal valley. Open: MON - SUN from 8:30 a.m. till 04:30 p.m.
Night tobogganing: MON - SAT from 07:45 p.m. till 09:15 p.m.
Day, multi-day and season tickets not valid in the evening! You have to buy a separate ticket. Rental toboggans available!
The toboggan run in Hochfügen is especially suitable for children and their parents. Direct access by car. While one parent skis, the other one can have a go with the children on the toboggan run. Thanks to the new ski connection the parents can meet in Hochfügen.
Ice skating and curling
Pirouetting, gliding on the ice and experience winter differently!
Ice-skating is a nice alternative - or addition - to skiing. Your children will love the change!
Natural ice rink (small) in Stumm
Open daily from 1:30pm till 4pm and 6pm till 9:30pm. Admission: adults EUR 1.80 / children EUR 1.20 / ice-skates rental EUR 1.50pp.
Artificial ice rink (1800m²) at the Zell am Ziller Leisure Park
Ice-skating, ice hockey, curling (on request) - daily from 1:30pm till 4pm and from 6:00pm till 9:30pm, on Tuesday nights no public ice-skating. Guest card holders enjoy discounts: during the day adults EUR 4 / children EUR 2.5; in the evening adults EUR 5 / children EUR 3

Swimming bath and sauna paradise of the Zillertal valley!
The Fügen thermal spa is the Zillertal valley's biggest swimming bath and sauna facility. The leisure centre is advertised as thermal spa, but its pools contain common spring water.

Bowling
Your small party wants to have some fun? What about bowling?
Frank yells "strike!" and stares at the scoreboard. His team cheers and orders the next round to mark the occasion. Bowling means fun and action as well as some exercise. The four fully automatic bowling alleys in the Freizeitpark Zell am Ziller leisure park guarantee fun and action for ambitious bowlers and hobby bowlers alike. Open daily from 9:00 till 23:00.

Let´s face it! Many people are happier after having enjoyed a treat such as exploring the one or other boutique. Combine your shopping tour with a visit to an original Caféhaus, where you have the opportunity to try typical Austrian cakes or drinks. Sacher-Torte, Kardinalschnitte pastry, Melange & Einspänner coffee specialties, Almdudler soda pop... - they will serve you whatever your heart longs for.
Mayrhofen (about 19km), Schwaz (about 30 km), and Innsbruck (about 58 km) offer great shopping opportunities.
