Night skiing in Kaltenbach!

If you can't get enough skiing during the day .... just continue at night.
Night skiing is offered every Friday evening from 7 to 10 pm (mid Jan to mid Mar). The slope is floodlit and covered in artificial snow. Please note: you need to buy extra tickets for night skiing!

The night ski slope is 3 km from Haus Schwarzenberg.

Entering the number of your lift ticket you will get your personal "skiline" within seconds. At first glance you can review all the lifts you have been using, as well as the vertical meters and downhill kilometers you have completed.

The ski areas of the Zillertal valley are right at your doorstep.

All ski areas are within easy reach (maximum: 30min), with the exception of the Hintertux Glacier which is a 55-minute drive from our house. The Zillertal valley offers 180 lifts and 535 km of slopes. 
All lifts can be used with the Zillertal Super Ski Pass. You can ski or snowboard to your heart's content!

Rent your ski!

Rent instead of buying and spare the effort of lugging your gear along!

Sport Stock in Stumm, 3km away from Haus Schwarzenberg, is the best place for ski rental. The main shop of Sport Stock is near the base terminal of the Hochzillertal ski area in Kaltenbach. Please note: the main shop in Stumm is still open! At the top terminal there is another shop offering ski rental, ski service, and a test center. Thus, you do not have to carry your winter sports equipment up to the mountain.
New since winter season 2010/11: another location at the Marendalm.

Our Kid’s Park is perfectly equipped for children to learn how to ski in a playful and fun way. We are especially proud of our Magic Carpet! Just step onto it with your skis, and you are already half way up the slope!

Ski school Optimal

It´s good to know your kids are well looked after!

You´ve just become parents or your kids´ are yet to small to attend the ski school? Still you don´t want to miss out on skiing yourself? Then the Zwergerlclub for kids is ideal for you. The club is located next to the Hochzillertal top terminal. There your kids (up to 7 years) are lovingly looked after, enjoy snacks, lunch, drinks, fruit.....also: great kids movies, plenty of games, sleeping facilities and a little surprise.

The guest kindergarten is open daily from 9am - 4pm. Please, book the day before at the Tourist Board: +43 5288 62262
