The Zillertal valley offers endless hiking trails. It is famous for its wide range of hiking and trekking trails for all levels and its numerous mountain hikes. Keen mountain enthusiasts can enjoy more than one hundred kilometers of hiking trails. The Zillertal valley offers something to please every taste.
Short walkes as well as medium hikes are possible. Also long tours up to eight or nine hours are offered. The ones who like hiking from hut to hut, will love the Berlin route in alpine terrain.

Hiking trails on Stummerberg
The Stummerberg mountain offers plenty of possibilities for hikes. You can even enjoy tours lasting several hours. Romantic persons should take a tour to the Wilde Krimml with its idyllic mountain lakes. Those who want to conquer mountains and summits should hike direction Alpbachtal valley and back. On their way they´ll find several summits with a difference.

The valley boasts about 1,000 km of hiking trails and more than 800 km of mountain bike routes, at altitudes of between 500 m and 2,300 m and offers its guests the most beautiful landscapes. Climbing adventure
The Zillertal Valley can offer secured fixed rope climbing routes and climbing parks at al difficulty levels.
Then there's ice-climbing, bouldering, indoor climbing ... and of course there are the many alpine climbing tours, which are sure to get every serious mountaineer's heart racing. It doesn't matter whether you climb for leisure or for extreme thrills, you'll definitely get your money's worth in the Ziller Valley. Some of Europe's best climbs are to be found here.
The First Ziller Valley Children's Climbing Park is situated beside the Spieljoch lift top station. For dedicated climbers wanting something mor challenging, there's the fixed-rope climbing route on the Spieljoch up towards the Kellerjoch.

The new Climbing park for families near the Spieljoch top station allows novice climbers of all ages to take a walk on the wild side and experience the exciting sport of rock climbing. The Climbing park offers various routes of different rating to guarantee appropriate rock climbs for the whole family.

Bouldern
Schettla´s Boulder Indoor Climbing Hall - Freestyle climbing throughout the seasons!
The Boulder indoor climbing hall is located in Mayrhofen and boasts 120m² of climbing facilities. Height: 3.5m for all levels and abilities; 1300 holes. Climbing walls vary between 10.5° and 50°. Protected by 30cm-thick mats. Different climbing routes marked with several colors. Further amenities: wardrobe, toilets, mini cafe.
